Career Learning Days

Career Learning Days

Career Learning Days™ are an interactive one-day workshop aimed at junior and/or high school students.  Each Career Learning Day™ focuses on a different career sector, offering students the opportunity to explore career possibilities in conversation with real business people from the sector.  Many students are unaware of both learning and work opportunities available to them in this diverse and exciting career field. Educators will benefit from exposure to this knowledge to assist their students to think about their careers differently.

This innovative program helps educate youth about careers possibilities and engages them in a discussion about their future. We inspire youth to pursue their potential using career-pathing methods and connect youth with employers, educational institutions, and professional associations that support a particular career sector thereby allowing students to learn first-hand about related emerging employment and educational trends.

Since 1997, Youth in Motion has run over 150 Career Learning Days™. Past events have included:

  • Women in Business and Finance
  • Entrepreneurship
  • “Green” Careers (“green”/sustainability sector)
