Leading The Way™ is an innovative program created by Youth in Motion aimed at middle school and junior high school aged youth.
Best described as an "inspirational school assembly", the program is
- A hip and dynamic, fully facilitated, one-hour show
- A fast paced interactive presentation using humour, music, dance, beat box poetry and more
- Delivered in a youth friendly format that is instantly digestible and moves youth to positive action
- A opportunity for youth to learn about Canada Top 20 Under 20™ award program and inspire them to apply
Leading the Way is it is designed to:
- Inspire youth to act whether it means creating a difference in their families, circle of friends or communities
- Lead healthy and positive lives, making good choices and overcoming barriers
- Promote and celebrate the opportunities and bright futures ahead for each youth
- Encourage young people to DREAM BIG
Interested in having Leading the Way presented at your school?
If you are a youth and are interested in having this event come to your school, please have your teacher or youth group leader contact us directly at [email protected]. Our show is designed for middle, junior and high school audiences of 500 or more. If your school has a group under 500, consider inviting another school over to share in the presentation.
The Results
Since 2009, Youth in Motion has reached more than 27,000 youth with the Leading the Way program. The feedback from both the audience and the educators at the schools where we present the program has been tremendous.
